Longford is a small hamlet near to Lilleshall with its well known Sports Centre,  just one mile from Edgmond and the renown Harper Adams Agricultural College and just outside the town of Newport,  where you will find everything you may need for your stay with us.

Telford is our next nearest town just a few miles away, with it's own large shopping centre with numerous retail outlets. Nearby is the heritage site of Ironbridge, with a variety of local history museums. For those of you who like to hill walk we have The Wrekin,  and a few miles beyond; the roman ruins at Wroxeter. The National Trust Home of Attingham Park is just a stone throw away - which then leads to the medieval town of Shrewsbury. 

We are just 10 minutes from the M54 which will take you to the Midlands or Wales. Or if you take the opposite routes you will be able to access Whitchurch or Stafford.   We are ideally situated for all travellers, but with the advantage of staying in a rural area,  for those requiring a more peaceful haven!

We have a collection of leaflets with various tourist sites available to you,  and will endeavour to find out any of your individual requirements regarding local attractions, if we are notified before your stay.

There are too many eating places to list,  however,  we can personally recommend some when you arrive - or alternatively we have a Waitrose in Newport where you can purchase a wonderful variety of food and drink for you to prepare and eat in your own kitchen area...  and weather permitting eat alfresco on your private patio.
